Arab countries declare Ramadan begins Monday (AP)

AP - Religious authorities in Egypt and Saudi Arabia have declared that Monday will be the start of the holy month of Ramadan — a period devoted to dawn-to-dusk fasting, prayers and spiritual introspection.
