Hezbollah seeks to reassure Lebanon over probe (AP)

Hezbollah supporters pray before the speech of Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, during the fifth day of Ashoura (the most important day when Shiites commemorate the death of Imam Hussein, grandson of the Prophet Mohammed), in the southern suburb of Beirut, Lebanon, on Thursday Dec. 1, 2011. The leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah militant group is trying to reassure the country that he has no interest in stirring up trouble over an international investigation that has targeted Hezbollah members. Lebanon is deeply divided over the U.N.-backed tribunal investigating who was behind the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Hezbollah and its allies reject the probe as biased.
